Year-Long Research Study of Literary Companion Commences

October 4, 2009 -- With funding from the Maine Technology Institute, AcademicMerit today began a research study, to be conducted throughout the ’09-’10 school year, that will examine the impact on learning and instruction of LC’s combination of formative and summative writing assessments. The study, which includes schools in Maine and New Jersey, is being overseen by David Silvernail, Director of Research at the Maine International Center for Digital Learning.
